i started using livejournal about three years ago. it was just one way to talk about my problems and joys as i went through life. through livejournal i have met people all across the country who have the same interests as me. i consider them my friends, even though i've only met a few and talk on the phone with a few others. we all exchange mailing addresses and send each other Christmas cards every year too. my parents are amazed that i call these girls my friends, but in come ways, i am closer to them than my own schoolmates.
